Tankerton Slopes once again plays host to the Whitstable Classic Car & and Motor Show on the 8th June. This year there are expected to be around 400 classic vehicles on display plus displays by various motor dealerships. In addition there will be live entertainment, vintage fairground rides & refreshments. After another sucessful Christmas Market at theWhitstable Castle & Gardens 2013's Tankerton Christmas Market will be on Sunday 8th December. If you are interested in booking then please read the booking information. 2012's event had Christmas shopping for all the family. Attractions included the owls of the Many Hoots Owl Rescue Centre and the Whitstable Hoodeners singing traditional Christmas and nautical songs. Inside the Castle & the Castle Studio there were stalls selling everything seasonal from cakes; high quality ceramics; beautiful handcrafted jewellery; hand made greetings cards.
